Still on PS4 or Xbox One and wondering if you'll be able to play GTA 6? Here's the honest, direct answer, with the cheapest ways not to miss the launch.
The answer: no
GTA 6 launches exclusively on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. PS4 and Xbox One are not supported β not at launch, and none is planned later.
Why?
GTA 6 is built for current-gen: ultra-fast SSD (near-instant loading), recent GPU, faster memory. The PS4 and Xbox One, released in 2013, simply don't have what it takes to run a world as vast and detailed as Leonida (see the map).
The solution: move to PS5
Good news: current-gen is now accessible. The PS5 Slim is the ideal entry point to experience GTA 6 in the best conditions.
